Shanna Zolman is originally from Syracuse, Indiana, where she grew up learning and loving the game of basketball. Shanna played college ball under legendary coach Pat Summitt at the University of Tennessee before being selected in the 2004 WNBA draft. Shanna spent the next six years in the WNBA before she felt God’s call to ministry and moved to Seattle, WA to work for FCA. Shanna has a deep desire for others to be devoted followers of Jesus. “Sport is a universal language and it gives people a platform to utilize their influence.” Shanna’s heart is to lead the leaders, showing them how to use their platform. She currently serves as chaplain to the Seattle Storm, Seattle Reign, and various University of Washington Women’s teams.
