Jesse Crock

WA State Director

Since joining staff in 2023, Jesse has been passionate about helping coaches and athletes across Washington discover their purpose in Jesus Christ beyond the field of competition. As the Washington State Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, he focuses on developing leaders, strengthening staff, and building partnerships with boards, donors, and volunteers to expand the ministry statewide. Jesse believes Washington presents unique spiritual challenges but also incredible opportunities for the Gospel through the platform of sport. One highlight of his time with FCA was helping lead the first statewide multi-sport camp, demonstrating the impact that can happen when a unified team comes together to reach athletes for Christ. He is grateful to serve alongside a committed team and believes the best is still ahead for FCA ministry in Washington.

Jon Sharpe

Vice President of Donor Advancement

Jon Sharpe serves as the Vice President of Advancement for FCA, working nationally while helping grow partnerships across the Pacific Northwest. With over 40 years in Christian leadership, Jon brings experience in pastoral ministry, organizational leadership, and donor development to help advance the mission of FCA. Jon’s heart is to call people into God’s greater story—inviting others to align their lives, influence, and resources with what God is doing. His journey has included leading advancement efforts for the Museum of the Bible, co-founding C3 Leaders, and helping develop Bakke Graduate University. Originally from the mountains of Washington State, Jon now lives in Seattle with his wife, Laila. Together they have three children and seven grandchildren. Jon is passionate about seeing lives transformed through Jesus and invites others to join the mission through prayer, partnership, and generosity.

Tim Gaydos

Greater Seattle Multi-Area Director

Tim Gaydos serves as the Greater Seattle Area Director for FCA, leading ministry efforts across King and Snohomish Counties by building and developing a team of staff and volunteers to reach coaches and athletes with the Gospel. A former collegiate basketball player at The Master’s University, Tim brings over 30 years of ministry experience as a pastor, church planter, nonprofit leader, and chaplain—including work with the Seattle Mariners and Sounders—where he has faithfully lived out his calling to be a “faithful presence” in one of the nation’s most spiritually challenging regions. He is passionate about helping athletes and coaches discover their identity in Christ and leveraging the platform of sports to make disciples. Through FCA, Tim hopes to see a renewed and thriving ministry presence across the Puget Sound, and invites others to join through prayer, partnership, volunteering, or starting a huddle.

Joseph Sanchez

North King County Area Director

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Joseph Sanchez grew up playing basketball and baseball and earned a BS in Ministry from Arizona Christian University. After spending 11 years working at Nike and serving in youth and young adult ministry, Joseph joined staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to combine his passion for Jesus, sports, and investing in the next generation. As an Area Director serving the Greater Seattle area, Joseph focuses on developing leaders who make disciples, using sports as a bridge to reach the hearts of athletes and coaches. He loves seeing an athlete’s passion for their sport grow into a deeper love for Jesus and hopes to see FCA Huddles in every middle school, high school, and college across the region. Joseph lives in Kirkland with his wife Erin and their two children, Jael and Elijah.

Luis Sanchez

Snohomish County Area Director

Luis Sanchez serves as the North Snohomish County Area Director for FCA, where he leads and develops ministry efforts to advance disciple-making among coaches and athletes throughout the region. With a background as a competitive swimmer and over 25 years of experience in athletics, coaching, and chaplaincy—including serving with the Seattle Mariners—Luis brings a deep passion for creating environments where people can encounter Jesus through sports. He is driven to help athletes understand that their lives and platforms can point to Christ, and he desires to see lasting transformation as individuals grow in faith and impact others for God’s Kingdom. Luis invites others to partner with FCA through prayer, volunteering, and financial support to expand the ministry’s reach.

Colby Jones

Eastside Area Director

Colby Jones serves as the Eastside Area Director for FCA, where he is focused on building and equipping a strong team of staff and volunteers to carry out disciple-making ministry through huddles, camps, and events. With a heart for developing leaders and a background that includes chaplaincy with professional football teams, Colby is passionate about helping coaches and athletes grow in their faith and use their influence for Christ. He believes deeply in the power of sports to bring people together and create opportunities for life transformation through the Gospel. Through FCA, Colby hopes to see a thriving discipleship movement across the Eastside and invites others to join the mission by getting involved, building community, and investing in the next generation.

JJ Breilh

Collegiate Director

Originally from Bellevue, Washington, JJ Breilh grew up playing baseball, basketball, and golf before attending Pepperdine University. Prior to entering ministry, he worked in the sports business industry with organizations and brands including AEG, the Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers, Kings, AT&T, and TravisMathew Apparel. JJ joined staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to combine his passions for sports, discipleship, and serving college students. As the Seattle Collegiate Director, he focuses on reaching athletes and coaches across local campuses and helping see lives transformed through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. JJ hopes to see FCA staff and chaplains present on every college campus in Seattle. He lives in Seattle with his wife Krista and their two daughters, Blakely and Piper.

Payton Bingley

Collegiate Area Representative

Originally from Spokane, Washington, Payton Bingley played collegiate soccer at Gonzaga University, where she earned a Bachelor of Education in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration. After sensing God redirect her career, Payton joined staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to invest in the spiritual lives of female college athletes. Serving in the Seattle area, she leads Bible studies and disciples athletes individually, helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus and discover their identity in Christ beyond their sport. Payton is passionate about seeing athletes use their platforms of influence to share their testimonies and the Gospel. She lives in Seattle with her husband Preston and loves walking alongside young women as they grow in faith and leadership.

Hunter Bryant

UW Football Chaplain

Fun Fact: Hunter was the smallest tight end in his draft class

A Seattle native, Hunter Bryant played football at the University of Washington and professionally with the Detroit Lions, and is currently continuing his education at UW. He joined staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes with a deep passion to help young men discover the fulfillment and love found in a relationship with Jesus. Hunter serves as chaplain for the University of Washington football team and as a Collegiate Area Representative, where he invests in athletes and coaches both on and off the field. He is passionate about seeing lives transformed by Christ and hopes to see athletes use their platforms to model a life fully submitted to the Lord.

Becky O'Hara

Originally from Eugene, Oregon and raised in Seattle, Becky O’Hara grew up playing volleyball and basketball and later spent more than 20 years teaching in Christian schools, where she also coached 4th–6th grade girls’ volleyball and basketball. As she transitioned out of teaching ministry, Becky sensed God calling her to serve in an administrative role and joined staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to support the Greater Seattle team behind the scenes. In her role, she helps with a wide range of administrative needs so FCA staff can focus on engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches and athletes in the field. Becky loves the combination of Jesus and sports and is grateful to play a small part in helping the ministry grow.

Heidi Hoffmann

Event Coordinator

A Seattle native, Heidi Hoffmann played basketball at the University of Washington and later worked as a physical therapist before joining staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Drawn by her love for youth, sports, and Jesus, Heidi now serves as the Event Coordinator for the Greater Seattle team. In her role, she helps plan and organize events that bring coaches, athletes, and communities together to experience the mission of FCA and grow in their faith. Heidi is passionate about seeing more students connected to FCA and hopes local events will help expand Huddles across high schools throughout the region. She lives in Seattle with her husband Steve of 30 years and enjoys cheering on their three children—Joshua, Gabriel, and Emily—in whatever sports they’re playing.

Originally from Edmonds, Washington, Adrienne Poling played basketball at Edmonds-Woodway High School and later at Seattle Pacific University, where she earned a degree in Business Marketing. She joined staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes with a desire to combine two things she loves—Jesus and sports. In her role, Adrienne leads social media and marketing efforts for the collegiate, Greater Seattle, and Pacific Northwest FCA teams, helping share stories of how God is at work through athletes and coaches. She is passionate about seeing more athletes encounter the truth of the Gospel and learn to keep Jesus at the center of their lives both on and off the field.

Pete DeLaRosa

Regional Wrestling Representative

Fun Fact: Pete ran a marathon (7-minute miles), competed in a bodybuilding contest (3rd place), and won a powerlifting meet—all in the same year

Originally from Sunnyside, Washington, Pete DeLaRosa grew up competing in wrestling, football, and track and later worked as an exercise specialist. He was introduced to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes through former MLB player John Olerud and quickly saw the powerful opportunity to share Jesus through the platform of sports. Pete now serves as the Wrestling Area Representative for FCA, focusing on reaching athletes and coaches throughout the wrestling community. He is passionate about using the sport he loves to point competitors toward Christ and hopes to see the impact of Jesus continue to grow within wrestling communities locally and beyond. Pete lives in Woodinville and enjoys spending time with his wife Katherine.

Drew Smith is a prospective Area Representative with FCA, based in Edmonds, preparing to minister to coaches and athletes through Huddles at local high schools once fully funded. Originally from Columbus, Indiana, Drew competed in cross country, basketball, and golf in high school and went on to play golf at Hillsdale College, where he earned a degree in Philosophy. After encountering Jesus in college, Drew felt a clear calling to use his background in sports to reach the next generation of athletes, and when he prayed for God to open a door into ministry, that door led him to FCA. He is passionate about sharing the Gospel with high school students who are searching for truth in a culture that often opposes Christ, and he hopes to see young athletes become disciples who boldly live out and share their faith in every arena of life. Drew lives with his wife and two children and invites others to partner with him through prayer and financial support as he raises the funds needed to step fully into this ministry role.
